Conference of “Benevolent Human in Farabi’s Legacy” to be Held Jointly by Iran and Kazakhstan

According to the public relations office of the Institute for Cultural, Social and Civilization Studies (ICSCS) affiliated with the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the conference of “Benevolent Human in Farabi’s Legacy, Contemporary Benevolent Society and Ethics” will be held in Almaty of Kazakhstan on 24th of October, 2023. During the conference held jointly by ICSCS, the Iranian Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Six Iranian scholars of Farabi Research will present papers. This conference is the first initiative by Iran-Kazakhstan joint committee on Farabi Research established following Ayatollah Khamenei’s suggestion to the esteemed president of Kazakhstan in spring of 2022.
The Main Themes of the Conference Are:

3. Ethics and Ethical Virtues in the Legacy of Farabi
4. The Function of Ethics in Preservation of Social Traditions and Values: The Relation between Religion and Traditions in the World
5. Farabi’s Ethical Principles Regarding Happiness
6. The Language of Philosophy and Philosophy of Language in Farabi’s Teachings
7. Shifts in individual value Orientation and the Novel Quality of Human Character in Iranian-Kazakhstani Societies in the Context of Globalization
