Brief CV
I am associate professor in sociology and a faculty member of the department of cultural studies at the Institute for Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS). This institute belongs to the ministry of science, research and technology of Islamic Republic of Iran. I received my PhD in Sociology from the University of Isfahan in 2012. Since then I have constantly been working in the field of sociology of higher education, sociology of arts and culture and popular music studies. I conduct some researches focusing in particular on the areas of social and cultural studies of higher education. I teach, in some universities and institutes, “sociology of culture” for PhD students in sociology, “sociology of arts” for M.A students in cultural studies, "sociology of organizations" for B.A students in sociology and "industrial sociology" for B.A students in sociology.
